Stuff Babies Need

Fun ride on toys – riding the wild WheelyBug

Once your little one has mastered sitting, crawling and taking the first steps to walking, a whole new world of toys opens. Most people remember getting their first car as a pivotal step towards independence and adulthood – getting your baby their first ride on toy is a similar such liberating gesture. Plus, he doesn’t know it yet, but I’ve given him this WheelyBug instead of his first car (his choice, although I think he will grow to resent the decision in later life). So read all about fun ride on toys in our WheelyBug review!

Brilliant fun ride on toys

The WheelyBug is a great ride on toy. Our son has taken to his (Tiger) as a pet, comrade and soul mate as well as an awesome mode of transport. There are several WheelyBug available, each with their own little personalities and charms. The Tiger is a vibrant orange, with lovely tuffty ears and sideburns. It’s just the right hight for our little one to straddle and move around.

Riding with the WheelyBug

We mostly use Tiger indoors, his wheels are fine on carpet and even better on harder floors. He can also cope reasonably well outside on a patio although be careful with mud.

There are several sizes available – small should be good from one year to about three, whilst the larger model is from two and a half years to five years old.

WheelyBug maintenance

Like all vehicles, a WheelyBug needs mmaintenance But, this is minimal and easy. The surface of the WheelyBug is easy to clean and can be wiped with a damp cloth. The wheels are can also be wiped, and the odd spray of WD-40 will keep the ride nice and smooth

My girls tried those wheels bugs when they were little and loved them, great for getting little ones to move around and balance.
