Too cool for nursery – rockabye baby rock lullabies

Finding a good soundtrack to bedtime has been instrumental (pun intended) in getting a good nights sleep for us all. But, even our favorite bedtime cd can be a bit dull after a year! So we love these rock lullabies by Rockabye Baby which give a nice calming twist to some of our favorite music! Here are just a few of the best!

All of the CD’s feature soft instrumental versions of each bands classic hits. No lyrics or shouty signing, just soft melodic chimes to help your little one drift of to sleep!

So, here are some of our favorite rock lullabies for a more interesting sleepy time!

Lullaby Renditions of Prince

Pay tribute to one of the many fallen legends of 2016, in lullaby style.

Lullaby Renditions of Metallica

“Nothing else matters”…please just go to sleep.

Lullaby Renditions of Queen

Nodding off to sleep to Bohemian Rhapsody, like a toddler version of the classic Wayne’s World scene.

Lullaby Renditions of Foo Fighters

Something for the young crowd.

Lullaby Renditions of Guns n’ Roses

“Take me down to sleepy city, where the milk is white and comes from a titty”

Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions Of The Smiths

“I was looking for a rusk and then I found a rusk, and heaven knows I’m miserable now”

Lullaby Renditions of Muse

Not my favorite, but hey.

Lullaby Renditions of Blur

“Confidence is a preference for the habitual voyeur of what is known as (parklife)”

#9. Lullaby Renditions of Bob Marley – £7.99

“I don’t want to wait in vain”…for you to go to sleep.

Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions Of The Police

Every breath you take
And every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take
I’ll be watching you…on the baby monitor.

So, what do you think? Let us know in the comments if you’ve got any other favorites. They have covers for most bands!

I wasn’t even aware of these! Fab! I’ve just listened to some of them and they’re great, although I feel like the Guns n’ Roses would wake our little man up more than send him to sleep! 🙂 Great post. #TwinklyTuesday

Yeah they are great, I think they’re soft enough to not wake them up. I wonder what it will be like in 20 years when they hear the real songs and have dinner weird flash backs!

I’ve never heard of these. I like that it won’t be too irritating for mums and dads when you know the songs 🙂
