Today we’re going to be looking at some lovely wardrobe dividers that help bring order to the chaos of baby clothes from one of our favourite online boutiques, Belo and Me.
As we’re now on to baby number two, our baby wardrobe suddenly became a mess. As our first is a boy, and the second a girl, we went through and selected our favourite clothes from round one to keep for the little sister. This resulted in a huge mish-mash of clothes from newborn to 3+ years! Add to that the sudden influx of gifted clothes from friends and relatives, along with other random bags of unwanted clothes we seem to have picked up from others.
We’re lucky to have quite a long wardrobe rail, where we can lay them all out end to end. It’s like a progress bar for our baby’s first few years! This strategy worked ok the first time round, where we simply added clothes to the end, but now we’re re-starting with the little lady and going back to the beginning! It quickly got out of hand. It’s nice to see all of their clothes, but it’s no use if you can’t quickly find what you’re looking for.
Organising your baby clothes with wardrobe dividers
The wardrobe dividers from Belo and Me give you a quick and simple A5 sized divider to help chunk up the clothes by age. There’s a range of styles available, all with beautifully illustrated creatures or patterns in a range of colours.
We got the woodland animal set as that goes with the general theme of our baby room. It comes with dividers for the first 2 years:
- 0 – 3 months
- 3 – 6 months
- 6 – 9 months
- 9 – 12 months
- 12 – 18 months
- 18 – 24 months
Wardrobe dividers – the perfect baby shower gift?
They come packaged in a really attractive box, and I think they’d be a great gift for an expectant-parents baby shower. The card is robust and sturdy, and they stand up well to being slid and shuffled on the rail. They’re sure to last.
We had a fun time putting them in amongst the clothes, looking back at some of the newborn outfits that we have collected. Having the hangers makes it easier for everyone to find clothes that fit quickly. In the chaotic early days of a new baby, life got a bit messy! Finding simple things to bring order to the chaos helps bring a little balance back to our lives.
If only they made them for adults!
Note – we were provided with a pack of the wardrobe dividers to review for this post. All views are our own.
